Our team of ISA Certified Arborists have the knowledge and experience needed to solve any tree-related problem you encounter, and they pride themselves on their quality of work and response time. Why the name
Texas does not license arborists. When Lee and Debbie Evans founded the company in 2006, they built it around independently verified certification, and every arborist on this page holds an ISA credential. Every credential we hold is listed here, with the number.

Lee Evans
Owner, President, ISA Certified Arborist
Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the Arthur Temple College of Forestry at Stephen F. Austin State University (2000). He has worked in arboriculture since 2000 and founded Certified Arbor Care with Debbie in 2006.
Lee served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture from 2012 to 2014. Today he focuses on the commercial and consulting side of the company.

Debbie co-founded Certified Arbor Care in 2006 and holds the credential that sets the consulting practice apart: Registered Consulting Arborist RCA-572 through the American Society of Consulting Arborists.
She handles appraisals, inspections, arborist reports and the consultations that builders, attorneys and property managers bring us.

Douglas L. Dear
Landscape Architect, ISA Certified Arborist
Doug holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University (1982). He moved to Austin in 1994 and, as a Landscape Architect, environmental consultant and arborist, built a working knowledge of Austin's Land Development Code, Environmental Criteria Manual and Tree Ordinance.
He has worked with homeowners, builders and developers in Texas, thirteen other states and Montreal, blending tree preservation requirements with a client's design, schedule and budget.
